Multimutre holder #FreeCADFriday

For April Fools' Day earlier this week, I created a QR code magnet with FreeCAD and an online QR code generator. I stuck one to the fridge in each break area at work.

Sometimes, when designing for 3d printing, you have to remember to try turning things 45 degrees. I was making this mounting bracket, which will be held down by a carriage bolt (so there is a square part beneath the round head of the bolt). I moved it off to the side to not get the overhang when printing, but then I remembered to just turn the square hole 45 degrees and it would print in the center easily! #freecadfriday

Quite some time for me to take part in a #FreeCADFriday but here is a Holder for up to 8 Labubus, since we couldn't be arsed to buy one for 12€ in china 🤣 (will show up later on my manyfold if anyone's interested)

@freecad not the wildest thing but my "in between other stuff" project this week has been a larger DIN rail stand. #FreeCADFriday

Needed some clips for the networking conduit I'm running while the floors are up, so tried out the new @freecad v1.1

This #FreeCADFriday might be a good opportunity to fix your document shredder. It feels so good to get rid of old documents and make room for the unavoidable new paperwork that is going to accumulate over the year! 📄🗑️✨

I made a replacement prodder for the safety switch on my Olympus shredder. It might be helpful for you, too?

It's #FreeCADFriday! What are you wonderful folk working on with #FreeCAD? #CAD #CAM #BIM

I really feel like I do not have a good handle on designing for laser cutting...

My instincts say that booleans and relying on kerf compensation is going to be the most straight forward way to get good fits, but this little shelf my kids asked for has a seriously complex tree.

I haven't seen any best practices out there. Anyone have any tips or pointers? Anyone else laser cutting with #FreeCAD?
