"Rock Lobster" is a song by American band #theB52s, written by their singer #FredSchneider and guitarist #RickyWilson. It was twice recorded and released as a #single, first by #DBRecords as their debut release in April 1978, and again the following year for the band's self-titled debut album on #WarnerBros (US) and #IslandRecords (Europe, Japan). The song launched the band's career and became one of their #signatureTunes. "#RockLobster" was well received by #critics.
