Hike at Roberts Point to see what's left of Franz Josef Glacier. Could have been a nice hike if there were not more helicopters than sandflies.
A continuous noise of pollution and nature destruction that ruins the day of all the people not in deny regarding climate change.
I see mountains as the most sacred things on Earth. Glaciers like ancient spirits, ice giants for who time pass slower than us, massive pieces of history that we should respect, fear and protect. Being in places like Franz Josef or Fox Glacier, so dedicated to their destruction, just break my heart.
