My electricity provider’s Virtual Power Plant (VPP) program accepted us a few weeks ago. I just got the signup bonus payment and have already supplied grid power for 9 events from battery power.

This won’t pay the full cost, but certainly is a nice bonus to go with the solar panel output.

(For programmed events we get paid $0.50/kwh supplied up to an annual limit, whilst buying power at $0.17 - or free from the solar in the sunnier months)
