'Löchrig' #FotoVorschlag 'Holey'
Besides it's holey looking architecture, the #Multihalle in #Herzogenriedpark #Mannheim is literally holey, currently closed for public and supposed to be renovated. It was built in 1975 and is still today the largest wooden gridshell structure in the world and is a protected historic monument.
I was tempted to remove the slightly distracting emergency exit sign, but ultimately decided to keep it because it also helps guide the eye. What would you prefer?

Shooting #Mannheim #Watertower through this stone ring is probably the biggest cliché shot you can take in Mannheim. I did it anyway ;-) (For the first time - and I have tons of Watertower pictures)

Today's prompt is obviously a perfect setup when you live in #Mannheim, the "Quadratestadt" (City of squares). The city centre is divided into a grid of squares (which is common in the US, but rather unusual in Germany). Each square is identified by a letter and a number. And in the Q-squares you'll find the Q6/Q7 shopping center.

After converting to black and white I like this even more than my first post.

First quarter of the year and my #365project is done and I'm extremely happy so far. I took more pictures in those 90 days than in the past years (and not only those posted here, but also those that really matter – family and friends, private events etc.). I found a ton of great accounts with beautiful pictures that inspire me and spark my creativity. The daily "Fotovorschlag" forces me to get out of my comfort zone and try new things, and I received great advice, help (and also some praise) from followers, which makes me happy and encourages me to continue (and further improve) my photography.
As a nice side effect I get rewarded by my fitness tracker because my average steps/day have increased significantly. 😄
I'm curious what the next 275 days will bring and I'm looking forward to being inspired every day.
