Photo weaving: this is a piece of a window from a church in The Hague. I used it to make all kinds of patterns. I call it photo weaving. I mirror the piece with photoshop, mirror it again, flip it over and mirror again, etc. until I have something nice. For the next pattern I take a piece of the piece, mirror it, flip it over, mirror again, etc. This is how all kinds of different patterns came about. I also used this technique to design wallpapers for a shortstay hotel in The Hague. They wanted wallpapers of all kinds of pieces of The Hague. @Dorine Excellent! I did a lot of endless pattern like this. Alas I lost a lot by a command line accident with a packer. It packed my whole harddisk and rendered Windows 98 SE unrecoverable. Sweet memories from the past...

I generated some from fractals. But I have to make screenshots from a pattern viewer to show them. Will take some time. Niederländisch verstehe ich nur ein bißchen, wenn ich es höre. Es ist fast wie Plat.

sorry, it was dutch, forgot to translate. i can read german fairly well, but not speak it. it is annoying that your texts with the photos are partly translated into dutch and partly not. They have become incomprehensible because of that. i wish i could turn off that translation. do you know if that is possible?
