The modus operandi: deprive utilities of gas before winter and when a cold spell or hurricane is forecast. Then, when the forecasted disaster hits, like the cold spell in 2021 during which hundreds died in #Texas, leave the supplier contract with the utilities and up the gas price on the spot market.
If the decision makers had operated like this in Germany, we could sentence them to life in prison for mass murder.
If state attorneys weren't all fossil heads, that is.
(German State Attorneys also would have to open murder court cases against the diesel fraudsters. But they don't, because they're fossil heads and deny to see that the resulting elevated NOx lead to deaths, a fact known but shrugged off in favour of profits by the fraudsters/murderers when they manipulated the motor software – to circumvent laws in place precisely to save people from being exposed to lung-killing NOx and ozone.)
O=C=OThis satellite image is paradigmatic. It shows smoke from huge forest fires over Canada. Smoke from burning swamps can also be seen in the south. In the south of North America there is a heat wave and in the center a hurricane is destroying Bermuda.
And in the north: Greenland is melting.

EnoughThe whole problem of #civilization is that they do not accept #nature limiting humanity's actions. All boundaries are seen as obstacles to overcome. This is exactly the mindset politicians are using to fight #climatechange, if they really try to fight it at all. #Economy though tries to make a profit from all things toxic as long as they can. #fossilindustry
