We locked down when the first cases were detected, because the virus spread quickly, quietly and easily.

We have fire extinguishers because fires can be put out before they get too big

We screen for cancer because they are easier to take care of when detected early.

We knew that fossil fuels were doomed, and did not do enough to mitigate our dependency when it would have been painless.

Now, we can see the war escalating, the oil supply drying up, with no credible resolution. And our government of #FossilFools still says it is too soon to start taking any action.

The time to hit the brakes is BEFORE you get to the cliff's edge. Afterwards, they are useless.
