@RickGaehl I remember hanging eggs on them in my childhood. Since climate change, they bloom much earlier than even an early Easter in Alsace. Only this year we have luck because the cold with minus degrees conserved them.

In der Nachbarstadt, nur 20km entfernt
aber doch 200 Höhenmeter tiefer,
sind sie fast schon wieder abgeblüht.
Bei uns können sie es sich so langsam
vorstellen damit anzufangen.
Bei uns speziell steht der Frühling
vor der Tür - wortwörtlich:
Vorne beginnt die #Blüte jetzt.
Hinten ist noch nicht daran zu denken...

All the news in my feed is absolute sh*t today so I’m posting a couple spring flower pictures
I brought forsythia branches into the house two days ago and a daffodil bud yesterday. Today they are both blooming!!
A ladybug, and the yellow flower eating birds are not around so there's forsythia flowers... and crocuses (not shown).
