The #Maritimes is going through a stretch of weather, that’s perfect for maple syrup 🍁 producers. πŸ€€πŸ‘
Daytime temps above freezing - teasing us that spring is on the way…falling back below freezing πŸ₯Ά at night, to remind us it’s still winter!

It’s the first time in months, that the batteries for my solar power system, are full!

🎢 It’s a bright, bright sunshiny day! πŸŽ΅πŸ‘β˜€οΈπŸ₯°

It’s a snow day in #NovaScotia #Canada today! ❄️
A nor’easter dumped a foot of snow overnight.
All schools are closed for the day.
Here in the forest it’s beautiful, but many of the trees are bent over, with the weight.

Tracks today: Coyote (right), coming up.
Bobcat (left), going down.
Mine in the middle (up & down).
And those others - also in the middle, are from a young rabbit!
One of the joys of winter in a forest, to see what neighbours are around. πŸ₯°πŸ‘πŸŒ²πŸŒ³πŸŒ²

β€” Happy Winter Solstice β€”
If you've followed me for a few years, you will know the winter solstice is a happy day for me - daylight gets longer from here, which means my power/electricity gets better. πŸ‘πŸ˜Šβ˜€οΈ

Waving to you from Nova Scotia, Canada!! πŸ‘‹πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦

It’s rare for me to see animal tracks, without snow.
Seeing the tracks in snow is a favourite of mine, and one of the joys of winter.
Today I found this large deer track at the top of my lane way - near the house. 🦌

Always happy to see what neighbours I have around! πŸ₯°πŸ‘πŸŒ²πŸŒ³πŸŒ²
