Trying to make kimchi with vegan alternative(s) for fish sauce. This one has a kelp based tamari to try to get some of that oceany flavor into it. Will see in a week or so if it’s successful or not.
I’m guessing the kimchi will still be good, but whether it has that subtle flavor profile added to it or not remains to be seen.

When you open a bag of crisps, and there are noticeably FEWER of them (third full!! )
Then you try one, and they TASTE DIFFERENT (derogatory)
RIP Vico Street Food.. you were the last remaining crisps that I liked and weren't expensive.

(There's a bright yellow NEW!! banner on the bag.. perhaps I can find a shop that still has the 'old' ones, and stock up 😭)
