Today my low-carb diet inspired me to try something new. I took a Portobello mushroom, chopped the stem up and added it to some ground turkey along with seasonings and a few bread crumbs, roasted the cap most of the way while waiting for my turkey burger to cook, used a bit of shredded cheese to stick the Patty on the concave side of the cap while they both roasted the rest of the way, poured on a layer of tomato sauce, added a few leaves of spinach, and finished it with a bit of extra cheese on top which I then melted. I'm not sure what you would call this, but it was delicious! Whatever this mushroom burger is, I'm probably going to make it again sometime!

These ground-turkey-stuffed mushrooms turned out to be a real shitshow to make, but they came out really tasty! Not worth the effort, but they did turn out to be quite the nice treat.

Yes I'm eating them with chopsticks, those happen to be excellent for serving oneself bite size or near bite size edible treats that do not take kindly to being pierced with a fork
