The last 2 cartons of red #lentils I opened had black spots along the carton's lining, and some of them also looked darker. There also seemed to be more than usual husks floating in the liquid. Overall I don't trust them, especially since I can't remember the black spots on the inside of earlier cartons. Can't say it smelled particularly spoiled, but since catching COVID-19 early on, I no longer trust my sense of smell.

So, I'd appreciate any insight fedi-folks can offer based on the attached photos :)
