Take action Our investigation has uncovered a disturbing truth: โsustainableโ timber from Malaysia canโt be trusted. Certification schemes are failing, so timber linked to forest destruction, wildlife decline and harm to Indigenous communities could be on sale here in the UK. Precious forests are being cleared, destroying homes for wildlife, like the critically endangered Malayan tiger โ with only around 150 left in the wild. Logging is trashing ecosystems, polluting rivers and impacting the people who depend on them. This destruction must be stopped.
