It’s such a missed opportunity by icash that they haven’t already got iCash 2.0 in Apple Wallet, given they’re the only ones in Taiwan currently using a modern-enough MIFARE version. They’d instantly take a lot of customers from EasyCard.

議員指出，由於晶片格式不相容，短期內不可能用iPhone直接搭台北捷運。悠遊卡公司表示，除持續與蘋果公司洽談，將推出可貼在手機上的「貼紙悠遊卡」，方便民眾進出閘門。

Just read a newsbit about #Taichung's Central Bookstore at #Taiwan Boulevard that has been officially reopened this weekend. Saw the building on #FocusTaiwan's website and thought that I knew that building. Checked the images I took last fall when strolling the roads of Taichung, and there you go. A beautiful #Japan|ese era building. The second image is a typical #Landbank building from the Japanese era. Similar ones can be found in Taipei (at 228 Park), Tainan (at Hayashi) and Kaohsiung.
