Reusable bag tags for checked bags should be an industry-wide aviation practice.

SAS is killing its reusable checked bag tag program on January 1, 2026. It only offered it to people who achieved “conscious traveler” status, which I just got in November. (I had to buy the biofuel surcharge on every flight and donate points.)

@bonpoteofficiel I wrote a series of essays earlier this year about why we can't have 'green' aviation fuel, or, indeed, any aviation fuel at all.

The world burns 99 billion gallons of aviation fuel per year, or about three billion tons; that's around three quadrillion calories. That's the equivalent of food for 3 billion people

Jättefin artikel i SVT om flygskam. När svenskar inte flyger så är det oftast för att de inte har råd, inte för klimatet. Min slutsats är att flygskatt sällan drabbar någon fattig. Vill man hjälpa låginkomsttagare är det bättre med höjt grundavdrag och jämlika löner. #klimat #flygskam
