Having fantastic observability metrics is a game changer. The problem is, too many teams think about building telemetry as an add-on, something to do later, once the system is up and running. That’s totally backwards. #DSO #DevOps #observability #telemetry #flydotio

Operational observability rocks, and so does Fly.io

Do you know what your infrastructure is doing? Not without good telemetry, you don't... Here's why an ops dashboard is so awesome.

I have just deleted a Rails app that has been running at heroku since 2012. Now it is running at #flydotio waiting to be written from scratch in #phoenixframework

Just got the chance to deploy an app using @flydotio, and it was really neat. It took only a couple of minutes to deploy a Rails app to the cloud by issuing only two commands via the cmd line tool. The overall experience was very smooth. The dashboard is neat too, with loads of information presented in a structured and informative way! Try it out!

@joncollinsdev had a hobby app on #heroku, where I paid $7pm for the web service, but a free postgres DB. Now its on #render, with a free Web service but a $7 pm DB 😀

The migration tool worked seamlessly, was very impressed.

This new generation of PAAS providers (I've also tried #flydotio) are outrageously easy to use. I'm very impressed.
