Believe it or not, #scientists are going on the evidence, and have actually dropped #fluoride levels in half in 2015, mostly because unlike in the past, Americans drink nearly double the liquids and have higher access to naturally #fluoridated foods, potatoes, tea, stone fruits.
It looks like the scientists are probably going to begin basing regional fluoride recommendations by region based on children's urine content instead of basing them on a number that, if it was all the fluoride they were getting, it would be safe, but that's not all the sources they are getting. Babies, children, pregnant and nursing women should lower their fluoride content if possible. Fluoride was never really an issue, these recommendations are changing based on changes in lifestyle and food supplies. Science is doing this and are on top of it, not fearmongers that have been there since day one. Never mind that kids in Texas get higher naturally occurring fluoride than is even recommended. Of the things effecting kids brains such as #airpollution and #ultra-processed foods and inactivity, fluoride is at the bottom of the list of factors we need to be fighting over.

As a child growing up in the 50's I received #Fluoride treatments in school and later drank #Fluoridated water. Both were derided as Communist plots by #Republicans while considered as beneficial healthcare by #Democrats. Little has changed since then. #SeventyYearsAfter. @luckytran
CDC, Experts Say Fluoridated Water Is Safe, Contrary to RFK Jr.'s Warnings - FactCheck.org

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and multiple expert groups endorse water fluoridation as a safe way to reduce tooth decay. However, independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. made a sweeping claim about fluoride’s effects on the nervous system, and promised to order the CDC to ban fluoride from tap water.
