5 days to go (09.03.2026) and my automated nightly generation of hosts file reaches its first birthday. Though I have been doing it for 6+ years now (Feb 15, 2020), but this is now a big time achievement. Thanks to so many users and the motivation to continue. I think large instances are nice because they provide a landing place for people to get onto user-respecting software, but small services like this are filling a much needed role for returning to more distributed, more resilient Internet infrastructure
