I knew this arrangement was missing something, and by chance found a perfectly matching red candle in my office to stick into the urn. I love everything about how the red of the crabapples and candle meshes with the green of the juniper and background.

After going foraging for sprigs and berries for some upcoming arrangements, I'm resolved to grow a small cluster of my own juniper trees for future years' projects. I've fallen in love with the gorgeous deep greens and blues, and of course some infusions are in my future with all these berries, too!

Since I don't know of any hashtags already out there for fall and winter that are analogous to spring and summer's widely followed #BloomScrolling, I'm going to throw my fall and winter foliage/scenery images under #SignsOfTheSeason.
