🌬️ Lettering | B Swash
This B Swash capital lettering captures a very fast and almost looping gesture.
Subtle contrast in the stroke emphasises the sharpness of the line, whereas the brushy stroke endings add a softening feel to the overall picture.

I just framed “futuristic car”, from my vertical #ink series done with a #FlatBrush, for @ourmaninjapan (who offered we barter some of my #art for Japanese woodblock print \o/)
The painting looks so good against black in a big white wooden frame! (Much better than just looking at it in the spiral pad I drew it on.)
Can’t wait to give it to him! 🥰

I did a black ink series, using a flat brush, on a tall and narrow drawing pad, so I focused on tall and narrow subjects, some of which I absolutely loved making!
As the series progressed I discovered a pencil shading effect that is achieved by using the wet ink where lots of ink is needed until the brush has dried enough that the ink can be smeared on paper, or create patterns.
