“In 1968 #HP introduced their first plotter - the 9125A flatbed #plotter - designed to be used with the 9100 #calculator and connected to the I/O slot at the back. This plotter famously made an appearance in the 1971 movie “The #AndromedaStrain”. After the 9125A, HP continued designing new plotters based on the original #9125A design until 1977.”

"Here we see #Cybertruck formed a peculiar #symbiotic relationship w/ larger #flatbed #trailer species. Evolutionarily disadvantaged, Cybertruck has come up w/ #clever way to transport itself long distances. By attaching itself to flatbed trailer, Cybertruck can reliably move about w/o risking injury to its fragile #exoskeleton or internal organs. What the flatbed trailer gets in return for this #kindness, #science has yet to #discover."
Anyone have experience with flatbed scanners? Looking for something above entry level, 11x17 capable, and has some speed to it. As a former high end drum scanner operator, I've been very spoiled in my lifetime. My little Epson v350 doesn’t cut it anymore. As the accidentally appointed family #genealogist, I am tasked routinely with scanning old photos and photo albums, some dating back to the late 1800s.
Looking for a faster better flatbed scanner.
Finally set up my new #scanning station using a digital camera instead of a #flatbed #scanner. Initial setup is more troublesome but the whole process is much faster. The results with my #omsystem #om-1 and #hires 80mpix are great for 35mm film. For 120 film the results are a bit better than for #epson #v700
