It proves some theories I already alluded to earlier in my various posts on various grip models, inner and outer bar ends. Like that the inner part of the handlebar and also the inner bar ends or bull horns respectively need to be further in the front as a normal flat bar with no or just 9° backsweep can provide. And that having the bull horns a bit (or to a good deal) inside of the brake lever clamps is preferable and having no interfering clamps of the brake levers _and_ of inner bar ends which poke into the palm is what you want. And indeed - by virtue of the bull horns being welded flush onto the bar this is how you want it. But - that 34° backsweep of the Denham bars is massive! The problem is 3-fold: - Now the reach difference is pretty big (too big?) between middle section and bull horns on the one side and the grips on the other side. - the back sweep is too big for me so my wrist angle is not neutral in normal riding position (and actually - that is the main thing the various backsweeps on different flat bars are trying to achieve. Dropbars are great, for many reasons. But I don't give up on my quest for a good flatbar / alt bar configuration! Enter: the Koga Denham Bar. I'll mount it on my full sus and report what I find. :)
My ongoing quest to find a nice and lightweight flat bar grip configuration, part x.
Now with Dongker bar ends quite inwards. Read my results and musings (also on remote lockout wants) in this insta-post:

Way too much text to write it here... Well - I'd wish I could...

Can’t use normal round grips like Ergon and the like. Tested the foamy ones, too. No grip was ever ripped faster off my bars again ever. Had decent success with the Ergon GP-2S (with a wing and integrated small outer bar ends). Then tried the SQlab 710 S you see here and like it a tiny bit better then the Ergon. But w/o additional grip positions this is also no solution for me. In came 2 variants of SQlab’s inner bar ends and also the Dongker outer bar ends you see here, too. But every time right next to the grip and outwards of the brake lever clamp (see also my posts from last November). Current iteration: ditched the SQlab Inner bar ends, took the Dongker normal bar ends again and moved those inwards of the brake levers like you see here. (cont'd in comments)".
