I've recently open-sourced v1.0 of my #golang spaced-repetition #flashcard #terminal (TUI) app.

It's called Mentat (and yes, I'm a Dune fan)

What is it? Similar to Anki, but for the terminal, because we all love staying in the command line. It uses plaintext deck files with a simple syntax and text-based FSRS review logs

I've just set up a release builder for macOS and Linux, so you can grab the pre-compiled binary and try it right away.

J'ai bien joué avec #Anki pour me faire des decks de #flashcard sur mes cours d'histoire.

Ça marche plutôt bien pour moi, même si ça demande un effort assez… massif.

J'y gagne aussi une bonne dose de reconnaissance de la part de mes petits camarades en leur partageant ça. 😁

Petit regret de ne pas avoir découvert cet outil plus tôt. Je pense que j'aurais pu le mettre encore mieux à profit.
