Spent the morning clearing the mud and accrued cruft off the yard drive at our house today, which involved a lot of shoveling and edge cutting with a builder's shovel (no specialist tools for us, no sir) - in the constant rain, and so literally soaked to the skin.

Normally, I'd have been inside putting more stud rail up, but the electricians have finally come (OMFG) and there isn't room enough for all of us to work in the same space. Those people on DIY rescue wotsit must have some interesting personal space issues behind the scenes, or else they're all saints.

Before and after time!! A local lady brought in this old framed family tree, faded, brittle and torn, and asked me if I could fix it up it somewhat. I’d never done anything like this before, but she said there was no pressure and to just see what I could do. First photo is the before, 2nd photo is after.
