- Selbst "primitive" #Solarthermie wäre ein massiver Gewinn weil #Skalierbar, konventinelle #Technologie und wie alle thermischen Kraftwerke erprobte & verlässliche Technologie.

Even the shortest-lived #radioactivewaste remains dangerous for longer than recorded human history and every strategy I've ever read about to manage it begins to fail long before the waste is inert. Since when is trading #carbon for #irradiation a valid strategy?

She worked with chemists Hahn & Straßmann in 30s Berlin, investigating whether there were any stable elements beyond uranium. They discovered bombarding nucleus of U-235 with neutrons actually triggered it to fission, or break, into 2 nuclei of roughly half the size & some free neutrons!
