I recently got a new kettle, I got sick of the previous one being so sensitive to burning things.
New one's glass lid can even work as a strainer, though not sure how good it is if you've had the lid on while boiling something...

No idea how quickly new one will burn things but I am quite impressed by when I wait for water to boil, not much happens until the entire bottom is suddenly filled with bubbles. The symmetry of the bubbles is quite fantastic!
Only brand I remain loyal to is #Fiskars
