Currently taking comfort from the fact my under-performing pension must demonstrate that it is in fact invested in the ethical businesses it says it is, and isn’t benefiting from the war or the increased oil prices.
And yes I know my pension is way down the bottom of the list of important things when people’s lives are being lost. #FirstWorldProblems

Just spent almost two weeks without electricity in my home (which is a boat). Topping up phone and laptop here and there in cafes or in the car. On this particular boat that also meant no toilet and no running water. My only luxuries were candles and a wood fire.
Tonight everything is back on, and let me tell you: cherish every drop that comes out of your tap and every flush because billions of people still live like this.

Long shot, I know, but do any of my peeps have a spare private jet laying around? My Air Transat flight from Manchester to Toronto has been delayed by a day and a half (so far). I keep rescheduling the connecting trains and hotels, but it’s getting a little old.
