I've been enjoying #FireDragon but the broken update channel doesn't feel right, and I'd like to go back to #Floorp.
Is there an "easy" way to transfer all my Firefox FORK settings Γ‘nd extensions to another Firefox fork, without creating a Mozilla account?
I use external applications for bookmarks and passwords, so those can be ignored.
Edit: I'm on macOS 12.7.6 (Monterey).

One week of browsing with #FireDragon later and⦠I genuinely love it! It's super low on CPU, I can go bananas with my Tampermonkey scripts and use all the Firefox extensions I want, I can cookie whitelist to my heart's desire. Sigh⦠where were you all my life, FireDragon!?

(The two 1st samples are heavily skewed to English-speaking higher eds.) The share of devices that have iOS or macOS in my poll went from 2% (at a hundred answers), to 14% (at a thousand answers), to 22% (at 2000 answers). Compare that with 15% of the pages served by the website and 18% for Safari+WebKit at Statcounter. This may hint that Safari+WebKit is evenly distributed except low at techies'. Beware that the %s of my poll are shares of the answerers, not shares of installations. The Gecko family (Firefox, Waterfox, Librewolfβ¦) displays a 100% total in my poll (against 19% usage of the website and 2.5% usage at Statcounter.) Of course many devices have Firefox and Librewolf; and many have none. I absolutely love the compact mode that comes with zen browser (fork of firefox). Look at this side by side comparison of both Zen (left) and Librewolf (right, more direct fork of firefox). I really love that the tool bar is hidden on the left in an autohide mode.
@astian Appreciate you going cross-platform. Most people need a recommendation like, "Just install ____" and it needs to be available for their platform, on their app store, preconfigured with #privacy-respecting defaults out of the box. Telling them this browser on mobile, that one on desktop, but install #uBlockOrigin, change search engine, etc. is too much - they'll just remain on Chrome or Edge!
BTW, I hope you are able to release #Midori on @fdroidorg and @flathub this year : )
