Medicine #lake! A geological anomaly that is not really a lake but more a #river that cannot drain fast enough. As such the lake fluctuates with the seasons.

Apparently there are trouts in the lake because some guy thought it would be great for #finishing until he realised that it wasn’t a lake and that it drained. He then tried to block the sink hole with old mattresses to maintain the lake size, but since there was more than one sink hole, that did not work. Today you can go fish the trouts to your heart content because Parks #Canada wants to get rid of them but cannot ;).

It’s probably too tiny to see at this resolution, but in case anyone was scared of my pdf link, here’s the stain chart I’m trying to figure out.

“Finishing actions clears the mind as much as it clears the plate. An action once finished does not need attention or memory. An unfinished action still needs both to be completed. An accumulation of unfinished actions creates a mental clutter and a brain drain.”

The ink is called Coffee Monster and is made by Robert Oster.
It is an "exclusive" ink from The Coffee Monsterz Co. (Their stickers are soo cute!)

I like it a lot. It has some nice shading in the broad TWSBI nib I am currently using.

I love starting new things. Right after I finish all the others I’ve started.
A few thoughts on the new post about why tying things off matters more than starting strong.

The Lost Art of Finishing

Starting is easy. Finishing takes rhythm, focus, and a bit of stubbornness. It’s less about stopping and more about freeing up space to start again.
