Watched two movies today and I didn't livetoot either because it didn't feel appropriate.

Birds of Passage (Pájaros de Verano, 2018) is a beautiful and heartbreaking story about greed and the cycle of violence. Set in the Guajira Peninsula (Colombia & Venezuela), the story is about a young Wayúu man named Rapayet who grew up outside of his people's traditions and seeks to start a family and keep it together. To make a living, he works with the alijunas, the non-Indians, and gets involved in a drug trade operation that could destroy his family's way of life.

Lucy (2014) is a story about how science drugs can make you the brain genius and also god #FilmDay
