Es geht um das Sammeln, Ablegen, Pflegen, Kuratieren und vor allem das *Wiederfinden* von lokalen Computerdateien in einer Hierarchie von #Ordnern. Dabei gibt es einige Dinge, denen man sich bewusst sein soll, die hier positiv und
negativ einwirken. Der #Vortrag fasst den Status der wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnisse aus dem Bereich zusammen und bringt im Anschluss gute Praxistipps und Erfahrungswerte zu dem Thema.

Ich mache sogar erstmals deutschsprachige Folien dazu. 😉

Planned to add file name descriptions and #tags to my recent photos while taking a train ride.

Unfortunately, tab-completion of my Python-based #tagging tool doesn't work at the moment and I have no idea why. This makes my tagging session an unpleasant one.

So I created a bug report for it: https://github.com/novoid/filetags/issues/74

The only thing that worries me is that it's my own tool, that has this bug and I don't know how to fix it. 😔 🤦‍♂️

Could be related to #readline, terminal emulator, pyreadline version, ... 🤷

I just saw an amazing video by #TravisAbendshien who told the story behind his #tag-based #filemanager #TagStudio and the journey so far.

If he'd spoken to me a while back, I could have spared him lots of dead ends. 😜

He also evaluated #TagSpaces and he found https://en.eagle.cool/

His preferences are different to mine. I'd never go with sidecar files, one interface only nor with a database.

gros avantage d'avoir des fichiers avec de bons tags et des dossiers rangés par projet, c'est qu'on trouve assez facilement de quoi donner des documents essentiels à son avocat quand un client met toute la mauvaise volonté du monde à payer ce qu'il vous doit.
