Als Extra-Cloud nutze ich zusätzlich #Filen (https://filen.io/) und habe für einmalig 30€ 110GB Speicherplatz gekauft, was mir völlig ausreicht, um z.B. aktuelle Illu-Jobs als Backup in der Cloud zu haben.
Die Einmalzahlungs-Option scheint aber nicht immer verfügbar zu sein.

I've just spent the best part of 2 hours, trying to set up Filen with rclone - I have all the up to date versions, have created the API key, and with the 'assistance' of Google AI - and failed miserably! 🙄

I deleted all my photos and files on #Google, transferred my work projects on #Nextcloud and my pictures on #Filen.
I installed #Linux with #pop!_OS on my laptop. I am not an IT person and this has been the most challenging thing I have done so far.
I am starting to integrate alternative social media and communication systems for my customers.
But mostly, I talk about Digital Independence with friends, customers, acquaintances. I talk a lot. Some of them listen to me and try new things.

Bueno! Està sent més senzill del que pensava.
Google fotos no el puc esborrar però ja no te permís per accedir a la càmara ni a res.
Les fotos que faci a partir d'ara ja es pujen automàticament al meu Filen, ha sigut facilíssim de configurar.

Jakiego serwisu chmury plikowej używacie?
Nie mam oczywiście na myśli nic z USA - ja kupiłem kiedyś pCloud i nie wiem... 1TB dożywotnio (do mojej albo pClouda śmierci).
Zajmuję nieco ponad 100GB i ok - tylko że jak coś próbuję skasować to pod Mac dysk zdycha i muszę wyjść i wejść z appki. Mega słabo to działa.
Przez WWW spoko - ale to nie o to chodzi.
Nie szyfruję nic a na Reddit czytałem , że są ludzie którym na ich dyskach pojawiły sie obce pliki :D

Myślę, czy nie dorzucić 100GB w Filen - powinienem się zmieścić, a to jakieś 11 euro na rok chyba. No i tu jest już szyfrowanie w cenie.

Hmpf, DNS4EU blockt aktuell @filen als "malicious malware" 🙄
Falls Ihr wie ich beide Services verwendet und merkwürdige Sync-Fehler habt, wisst Ihr, woran das gerade liegt.
Ich habe bei beiden Anbietern bereits ein Ticket erstellt...
EDIT: Filen hat geantwortet: Sie sind offenbar auch von anderen DNS-Diensten wie QUAD9 geblockt. Man arbeite an einer Lösung...
EDIT2: DNS4EU hat eben gemeldet, dass man filen.io entblocked hat!

Filen über Rclone einzurichten ist, wenn man das letzte Mal in den 90er Jahren Kommandozeile (?) genutzt hat, eher nicht machbar.
