Еще бы оно автоматом обрывало звук с LineOut при втыкании баланса, а то уже как-то страшновато, насколько быстро отъебнёт переключатель. #журнал #аудиофелляция #FIIO

FLAC отменяется, а вот дурка — едва ли. Я конечно знал, что аудиофилы поехавшие. Но вменяемого плеера с поддержкой ASIO/WASAPI Exclusive — нет. Ты либо жрешь говно и слушаешь музыку директориями, либо жрешь говно и .NET

So I tried this All to DSD feature on my #Fiio M21 expecting it to do... nothing. So I had clear expectation bias. And... I can't hear any difference. People who 'get it' talk about DSD (SACD) as having a glassy quality. Not only do I not know what that means, I don't hear it. But it certainly drains the battery faster, so there's that... #music

I've been thinking of getting a good quality CD-player (=metal chassis). I would use it by my computer and feed my desktop DAC with it. So I looked at used CD-players, built like tanks and I contemplated the wave of new CD players from brands like #Fiio and #Shanling but then I realized... I have lots of CD players already. Every DVD/BD player and early game console is one, all I need is something with SPDIF or coax out and i'm good. Now heading down to the basement to look for one in storage...

Decided to spoil myself & purchase a Bluetooth headset, the Fiio EH11: https://fiio.com/eh11

YouTubers rave about it as the Koss Porta Pro killer; it's ⅓ the price & you can tune it with a persistent EQ.

Rotary maple wood knobs on the sides (to skip tracks / adjust volume) is genius.

I hope the microphone is good, as it would be a huge plus for calls while exercising or commuting.

I hate that it uses a proprietary battery (with USB-C charging) instead of AAA, but YOLO 🤷
