I have had this elm stump for a while now. It checked a lot as it dried so I filled the voids with epoxy resin. I finally figured out what I want to carve this into and sketched that out the other day. This will be my first figure carving. Hopefully, it goes well and I do justice to this fine piece of wood.

Spot the mistake đŸ€Ł no it wasn't deliberate but I did manage to catch it before I carried on carving which was lucky!

It did make me chuckle when I saw it.
