I must say that this one I like. When I first got the pose I was like "oh no" but it turned out good. (And had a little "luck" that the video froze and I could spend a bit more than 5 minutes on it... but just a bit more.)

Figuary 16. A bit meh, but they sometimes are. I do notice that I have gained more confidence in the strokes so that I manage to do more within the 5 minutes timed pose, nice to see some progress.

Been a bit busy lately so did not have to draw or post Figuaries every day. Eventually did each days challenge though, even if a bit late. I especially like today's (15 Feb) ones, somehow they hit the spot, even the one with a clothed model... Really struggle drawing clothes, bare body lines are so much easier (relatively speaking).

Figuary day 11. Not the easiest pose for me, but kept it still rather well in the 5 minute timed pose this time.

Fairly satisfied with this pose. Still a Figuary, but not really timed croquis anymore. I only do the shorter poses as quick warm-ups and with the last 5-minute one I spend more time on polishing it, but still try to capture it in five without pausing the video. I feel I need to practise more to gain some confidence in my strokes, and this is the way.

A clothed Figuary drawing for a change. This was maybe a bit cheating, because I only sketched the 5-minute pose, but spent more time polishing it up, like resizing and repositioning the head to be at least a bit more humanlike than alienlike… Well, this is art so I do as I please and break the rules if I see fit 😂

Time for today’s Figuary I guess. Does not do any justice for the model at all, but in five minutes all I can hope to capture is the gesture somewhat. (And heads/faces are awfully difficult for me even if I had all the time in the world…)
