For years, YouTube has offered creators the ability to translate titles and descriptions into other languages. Recently, they've also added synthetic dubbing capabilities, enabling automatic voice-overs for videos in different languages.

While these features help creators reach international audiences, they create a frustrating problem: viewers have no native option to disable these translations once and for all.

I hate AI but I wondered, mind you I am just a hobby coder that does a bit Rust, what if we take a small local AI and put that as a little but VERY loud guy in front of our web pages.

That bot scrapes your web pages, does not even be good at it and turns everything into absolute fucking gibberish and then presents this every AI bot that passes by as facts distracting from the real content. All these services bloody suck and AI hallucinates already enough.

How about we really band together and turn the internet into "The Place That Sends You Mad" for AI scrapers absolutely destroying their models?

I’m still not sure what’s worse.

That ‘AI’¹ needs unfathomable amounts of energy, single-handedly bringing back nuclear power, and perverse amounts of cooling liquid, draining the fresh water reserves of small towns²?

That ‘AI’ keeps being trained by data sources the creators of which never agreed on being used this way³?

That ‘AI’ needs to be stripped of terrible, toxic content by human beings living in the Global South who have to endure perversion, aggression, and any *ism you might imagine, and who are paid for this torture obscenely low wages⁴?

Or that ‘AI’ tends to make people stupider⁵ and learners lazier⁶?

In any case, avoid any form of ‘AI’ like the plague it is.
