I should mention, that I basically ignore comments from anyone who doesn't upload a profile picture. Like, I'm totally ok if the image is just #0000 or #ffff all the way through.

But if I see that default Mastodon elephant, I am immediately suspicious that you may be trolling me (even if you aren't).

Please, people, put *some image* there: a cartoon, a single color, your favorite pop culture character, whatever.

Makes a huge difference to those of us who get @-mentioned 50 times a day.

Ich war heute beim #ffff #klimastreik und dank Noise Cancelling Headphones hab ich diesmal auch fast bis zum Ende durchgehalten. Die letzten Redner waren lokale Berliner Interessengruppen mit wichtigen Themen. Da ich sehr vorsichtig bin, ich kann z.B. keine Flyer verteilen oder um Unterschriften oder Spenden betteln und die eine genau dafür Hilfe für ein kommendes Projekt suchte, wollte ich den QR Code aufnehmen, Die Helfer hatten ihn auf dem Rücken, aber das wurde ein richtige Jagd ;-)
