I was looking for a photo for silent Sunday but this absolutely will not do, as how can anyone be silent about this AMAZING knitted nativity.
We don't do a religious Christmas, but oh my, this is crafting genius and a thing of beauty.

Been meaning to say, if anyone has a pet that they are desperate to see in a Santa hat but either 1. thinks it would be an indignity to make them wear one or 2. would like to avoid their pet taking appropriate revenge for the indignity, do share a photo with me & I'll happily do a virtual version if I can! Turns out I quite enjoy people's pets turning up in my notifications with a request for festive #xmasHatting
I've just boosted the thread where they live. I recommend a browse through the replies, there is a fine range of pets in non-festive and festive form in there. We had cats, dogs, birds, bunnies... it's lovely.
I could have been getting annoyed watching Johnson in every pause from work today. Instead I've been putting festive hats on Mastodonians' pets.
I think I made the right choice.

I was a big fan of the Magic Roundabout as a child. My Dougal dog spends all year sitting on my desk, but he gets a special hat for December.
And a sugar lump for xmas, obvs.
Have just realised that this one looks like Santa's beard has become sentient and run away to a warmer locale.
