Una ruota panoramica installata nella città indiana di Kushinagar ha ceduto improvvisamente mentre a bordo c’erano decine di persone. Il crollo della ruota, alta circa 18 metri, è avvenuto durante una fiera: almeno 30 persone, tra cui anche bambini, sono rimasti feriti.
L’attrazione trasportava circa 80 persone al momento del crollo: con ogni probabilità, secondo le prime indagini, la struttura non è stata ancora bene al terreno e quindi non ha retto il carico eccessivo.

A Ferris wheel installed in the Indian city of Kushinagar collapsed suddenly while dozens of people were aboard. The collapse of the wheel, about 18 meters high, occurred during a fair: at least 30 people, including children, were injured.
The attraction was carrying about 80 people at the time of the collapse: most likely, according to initial investigations, the structure had not yet been properly anchored to the ground and therefore did not withstand the excessive load.
