Everyone posted photos of their #European #summer #holidays, but I hadn't posted anything yet, as I had been busy with visits at home, including the coronavirus. 😿 I hadn't had time to organise my travel photos yet, but last night I started organising the albums and I'm going to select some to share on this new account, which is primarily dedicated to #photography, #travel and the trivialities of my life abroad.

Here's a photo of a very beautiful place we visited in the #French #Alps in August this year, at an altitude of over 2,000 metres: a village called Saint-Véran, in the #Queyras natural park.

We went by car and, when we got there, we just walked around the village, as there wasn't much to do besides enjoying the historical heritage and beautiful landscapes (which is enough for many tourists) - and chasing after my hat, which the wind had blown away.

I always carry water with me, but I didn't this time, and after walking and climbing so much, I couldn't take it anymore and decided to go look for water, but there was nowhere selling it. I had to ask someone else for water. I went into a small inn and asked, ‘Would you have a glass of water, please?’ The girl smiled, said yes, came back and gave me a litre bottle of water. Very nice of her!

Soon I'll post more photos from my last holiday and I hope I'll have enough energy to add some text telling the story!

Todo mundo postou fotos das férias de verão europeu, mas eu ainda não tinha publicado nada, pois emendei visitas em casa, inclusive do coronavírus. 😿 Ainda não tinha parado para organizar as fotos da viagem, mas ontem à noite comecei a organizar os álbuns e vou selecionar algumas para compartilhar nessa nova conta, a principio dedicada a #fotografia, #viagem e banalidades da minha vida no exterior.

Aqui vai uma foto de um lugar muito bonito que visitamos nos Alpes franceses em agosto deste ano, a mais de 2 mil metros de altitude: um vilarejo chamado Saint-Véran, no parque natural de Queyras.

Fomos de carro e, ao chegar lá, apenas andamos pelo vilarejo, pois não tinha tanta coisa assim para fazer além de apreciar o patrimônio histórico e as belas paisagens (já é suficiente para muito turista) - e correr atrás do meu chapéu que o vento tinha levado.

Eu, que sempre levo água comigo, não levei dessa vez e depois de tanto andar e subir ladeira, não aguentei e decidi ir atras de água, mas não tinha nenhum lugar vendendo. Tive que apelar para pedir água a terceiros. Entrei em uma pousadinha e perguntei "Você teria um copo de água, por favor?" A moça sorriu, disse que sim, voltou e me deu uma garrafa de um litro de água. Gente boa!

Em breve vou postar mais fotos das minhas últimas férias e espero ter disposição para acrescentar texto contando história!
