Tux has (unfortunately) successfully driven away his mama and taken her place by the back door. He has even mastered the "I'm cute and hungry" look. What a handsome boy he is though ♥️

At the moment there isn't much I can do about his mama except look after her if she shows up again. Such is the life of stray cats I guess. 🙁

The Tough Cat Musya

Musya had been living in our yard for a long time.
People said she’d been thrown out of a nearby house.
She trusted no one and knew better than to expect anything good from humans.

That attitude actually helped her kittens survive.
Out of the few who made it, two were hers — Dusya and Belka.

This fine gentleman failed to show up for supper last night, leaving me to worry because he is usually very punctual. But he just showed up to politely ask for a snack. 😅 This is still the closest he'll get to me, no matter how hungry he is.
