The kids got me some Lego sets. When I was a kid we just had a big bucket of bricks. Some came from sets, but they were nothing like the sets today. As cool as the Strat is in this set, the amp is amazing in its detail down to the correct number of tubes. They even included the spring reverb. #Lego #Fender #Stratocaster #Guitar #FenderAmp

When I first inherited this #hobnailglass candle holder, it was considered ugly and passé, so of course I loved it.
I had no idea that these would eventually sell on ebay for almost half the cost of rent that I was paying at the time.

Opened up my amp to find 2 relatively new screen grid resistors completely blown. The tubes are also recent. Playing loud punk music in various diy spaces with sus power outlets may be the cause? Replaced the 470 ohm resistors (teal) but also the 22uf 63v bias supply filter cap (blue) and the 82k and 100k plate load resistors (yellow) on the phase inverter tube. We'll see how how it is after tomorrow's gig.
