Little yellow eyed penguin has feet now I have non-broken needles.
The needles from Filzrausch are worlds better and so much finer than the flimsy one that came in the beginner’s Ashford kit. And a wooden holder ensures a relaxed grip. Much more enjoyable. Less self-mutilatory too.
Imagine the smell of a slightly moist wood, the soft feel of moss under your feet. As you walk through the forest you see a reddish shimmer in the underwood. You take a peak through the twigs and see a pebble with a swirl. It’s covered in in nicest shades of green moss. You carefully pick it up and look at it.
What might this magic thing be?
The only thing I miss here in #regensburg is the sea. So on my desk there are currently appearing some felted „stones“ in the size of pebbles with colorful felted corals, #beading and #embroidery.

Die Grenzen verlaufen fliessend zwischen "Mein Name ist Sibylle und ich hab zuviel Wolle" und mich mal eben spontan im Keller mit den Fasern für die nächste Filzidee eindecken.
Meine Ziele: klar voneinander abgegrenzte Farbflächen und mittelfeine Details nassfilzen.
Die Wolle stammt wie immer von unseren Schafen.
Just finished filling a wet felted vessel with Easter treats for my grown up kid and their gf!
I felted this one on an egg shaped resist and cut off the top bit to make the lid. The little egg on top is needle felted and then wet felted.
