Rest in peace, Chuck Mangione. You've been my all-time favourite trumpet/flugelhorn player. I used to play "Feels So Good" and "Children of Sanchez" all the time. I went to your live performance at Jazz Alley about 20 years ago. You were as great as you had always been.
I'm sure everyone in heaven is eagerly awaiting your arrival. Make sure you bring your flugelhorn with you!

When I learned that Luigi Mangione is the name of the shooter of a health care executive, I remembered that Chuck Mangione (related? maybe or maybe not) produced some memorable #music. I revisited Chuck's work and I was moved to buy his song #FeelsSoGood because I enjoy hearing it again after so many years.
