So, apparently my new hobby is being the #FediWelcomeWagon...

I genuinely enjoy trying to help the new folks get adjusted to this new social space which might feel awful foreign and strange at first.

I was lucky when I got here 6 months ago and already knew people active here, but I know that's not the case for a lot of people.

Welcoming folks and keeping an eye out for the people who are lost about what to do, overwhelmed by the change, and might need someone to talk to about it is super important, and I invite others to be doing the same if they aren't already.

It is, however, a lot of work... So, if anybody appreciates the effort and would like to buy me a coffee.... I'd appreciate it.
