Antijudaism from David Nirenberg depicts with erudition the historical tension around judaism over two millenia, between being foundational to our logos, attempts - mostly western, at exceeding this legacy and rejecting it. It belongs to the history of ideas, in some chapters it reads like history, in others like exegesis. This essay explores and stresses the importance of the hard-to-define relation between the formulation of an idea and its consequences in the noosphere and the real world. I also read it as a call to responsability, as it is very easy to make knives fly with our words. TODO re-read and I had many very interesting pointers to other books.
