Some goodies from a recent glaze kiln. The mini tripod cups were something I started making years ago simply as glaze tests for the full sized mugs. Then people wanted to buy them.
Shot glass? Tea bag holder? You decide. :)
I'm especially proud of the brick red glaze on the porcupine and some of the cups. It was a lot of tinkering to get the chemistry right for red & not dull brown. Red is tough to get at cone 6 oxidation unless you use commercial stains.

I had an amazing time on Sunday at the "Lights Up!" new-play festival and maker fair on Sunday. The first time showing my collage art in person, and still surprised that folks wanted to buy it! Wonderful to meet other makers and talk antique paper, gel printing, and storytelling. Grateful to my theater -- City Lights Theater in San José, California -- for hosting. The arts nourish the soul.
