Zorn Palette - Skaven Grey Seer Sizzle
Did the #fedipaint Zorn challenge on a Skaven Grey Seer. Definitely put me out of my comfort zone, but was fun. Will write up more thoughts on my monthly painting blog post.
DanielFinished off my current Quar project tonight, a Toulmore infantry squad. I already have a standard bearer and a musician built and primed. These things are addictive. I'm going to be sorely tempted to paint the musician Kermit green with his little banjo.
But... I also love the idea of limited palettes so I picked up a few bottles from the LGS, built something weird looking, and we'll see what #fedipaint can turn it all into.

This week's plan was to start my #FediPaint entry but I only got as far as priming that before someone asked if I wanted a game of #TrenchCrusade at my FLGS. I needed a merc to fill out my warband and I had a couple of spare Sin Eaters printed up, so I decided to put one together. Obviously I only got halfway through base coating it before the game itself, and now feel obliged to finish it. Still a few details to go but we're nearly there...
Claire SimpsonSeeing posts about the #FediPaint Zorn palette challenge and it's tickling my brain in a way that suggests I'm going to end up having a crack at it. Little bit paralysed by fear of messing up from the start by picking the wrong colours, though, so if anyone can recommend four Citadel pots to use for this it would be much appreciated
NotaviDecided to have a crack at Fedipaint this time around. This is my first mini painted up using the Zorn Palette.
It's been an interesting figuring out how to mix the colours I need using just the four base colours. Its taken a bit of fiddling, and getting the right consistency while pixing on a wet palette is a bit tricky.
Still, I think she looks pretty good.

Guess who is excited about @Berit’s current #FediPaint topic? Yes, this idiot. In a fit of dumb, I’ve in a decided I wanted to go all in on this “Zorn”* palette malarkey. I’ve got my four pots. And - importantly - I’m making a big old mess. Think I’m still very much in a #WIP stage here - but I am expecting the imminent arrive of the newest Rollly - so y’know - things might overtake hobbying.
