"FedEx Series" created by artist Walead Beshty

In his FedEx series (2007 – 2014), the artist created a series of glass objects constructed to the exact dimensions of the standard FedEx shipping boxes. Beshty then used the FedEx Express service to mail his objects across the country to exhibitions and galleries. Relying on external forces to shape his final work of art, Beshty exhibited the damaged glass shapes alongside their containers upon arrival.

#FedEx has probably delivered 10 packages to me. Of those, about 3 were actually delivered to my house. The others went to the neighbors, the bar down the street, and once to someone in the next town over.

My address is rural, but it really isn't that hard. UPS was here just yesterday. Today @fedex emailed to say my address doesn't exist. The AI bot doesn't help, 15 minutes of dumbfuckery later a human says, well, I've created a ticket for that.

Will they ever deliver?

I'd think if #FedEx drivers, unlike their UPS friends, don't want to deliver packages to me, they'd just ignore me entirely.

But, nope They send a delivery verification photo showing a package sitting someplace I don't recognize that is clearly not the address -- my place -- on the package label.

Almost every delivery. Getting really tiresome.🫩
